Welcome to the Kent State University ESL Writing blog. As the teacher for this course, I will use this page to post the weekly journal topics. So remember to visit this page and check for the topics.

What is a blog?

A blog is an Internet journal that you write and post online. Anyone on the Internet can read your blog.

It’s good to learn how to practice your typing skills and your Internet communication skills.

Set Up

1. Go to Blogger.com. If you have a Google account, you can use your username. If you don't, then make a new Blogger account with another email (like Hotmail or Yahoo).
2. When you have logged in, click New Blog
3. Type a title (ex: John’s Writing Journal)
4. Type an address (ex: JohnOJournal)
5. Choose a template design
6. Click New Post and begin posting

After you have set up your blog, post the address link in this blog by using the comment feature below.
